“I’d rather be uncomfortable for 3 hours a week in the gym than always uncomfortable in my body.”
That quote hit me hard when I first read it because it’s not just about the gym. It directly relates to confidence.
Creating confidence works the same way. You can choose the short-term discomfort of doing the work—like trying new things, having hard conversations, and changing your patterns—or you can live with the constant discomfort of never feeling good enough.
Growth always has some discomfort built in. But one kind of uncomfortable moves you forward. The other keeps you stuck.
The first kind of uncomfortable changes you. The second keeps you small.
ASK YOURSELF
Would you rather be uncomfortable for a short amount of time as you build your confidence?
Or always uncomfortable living without it?
Sometimes we don’t have the motivation or discipline to make changes alone. That’s normal. It’s okay to ask for help. When you work with a confidence coach, you get guidance and structure to make that temporary discomfort worth it because you’re creating a better version of yourself. You start learning how to trust yourself, follow through, and quiet the voice that says, “You can’t.”
Everyday you make choices about your life. Be intentional with this one. Choose your kind of uncomfortable.
