5 Languages of Appreciation in the Workplace
Individuals need to feel appreciated and valued to enjoy their job, do their best work, have positive work relationships, and stay with their organization long-term.
In the original The 5 Love Languages book by Dr. Gary Chapman, he discusses five ways of expressing and receiving love. His follow-up book written with Dr. Paul White, “The 5 Languages of Appreciation in the Workplace,” discusses how to apply this framework to create a culture of appreciation for your employees.
As a result of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Understand their preferred languages of appreciation
- Express authentic and individualized acts of appreciation to others
- Create a more positive work environment
- Improve work relationships among team members
All participants will have access to the MBA (Motivating by Appreciation) Inventory™ to determine their preferred languages of appreciation. Transfer of learning will occur to ensure the concepts get applied in the workplace.
